CALLING ON TRUE HORROR FANS!
“I was happy to be a part of the first film. Had no idea what, exactly, I was getting myself into. But, Robert (Englund) asked me to do a favor and show up in front of the Elm Street house for a cameo, so I did it. In retrospect, I’m so happy to have been a part of such an intelligent, clever Valentine to horror fans. I’ve been shouting the praises of Scott’s movie for several years now and I’m excited to be offered a more substantial role in the next one. It’s really important that we support indie horror and I can’t think of a bigger statement we’d all be making than getting this project fan-funded through Kickstarter. That would definitely send a message to Hollywood.” -Kane Hodder
–ROBERT ENGLUND OFFICIALLY REJOINS B4TM:“Not only do Robert Englund’s reps tell us that in his career he’s never been formally attached to a project that hasn’t had an official Greenlight (Robert is officially set to reprise his role of Doc Halloran), but Robert’s also coming on AS A PRODUCER to help us out!
Paradise Lost? Fund It!“
Within the first 20 minutes of watching this feature, it was clear to me it would stay on my TOP10 list indefinitely. It is an homage to Horror, specifically Slasher flicks and a must see!
With a huge cult-following and a mass of Vernonites obsessed, it only makes sense to put out a long anticipated sequel.
Sadly, Anchor Bay has passed on its chance to fund what will be the follow-up film to the legendary BTM.
By advocating B4TM you will also receive goodies based upon the amount of your sponsorship. From Stickers, to a Special Thanks in the credits, to a Supporter’s Edition Blu-ray, they are all great pieces of cinematic memorabilia. These items will only become more collectible as time passes.
Please take the time and help sponsor what no doubt will be another classic film starring one of my favouite villains, Leslie Vernon (Nathan Baese)! In support, I have acquired an original print issued #8 out of #150 created by Nathan Thomas Milliner. It is a superb piece of artwork that is respectfully crammed with references to BTM. A fine addition to my collection that will be hung with pride.
So folks, what I am saying is, we should all come together as a community of Bloody-Murder-Loving-Freak’s and join in to support the making of Before the Mask: The Return of Leslie Vernon.
